Yesterday wiccancatmeme posted a rant about “stolen” meme and I thought that she was overreacting. I’m all for respecting author’s rights but I hate when it become paranoia and people want to “protect” every word they say instead of doing something that is really worth protecting. And in my humble opinion memes are meant to be for free share.
I wrote about it yesterday but unfortunately text disappeared when I wanted to post it. So I just wrote directly to wiccancatmeme. I asked about the rights to use a photo of a cat. I just thought that it would be fair if the author’s name was mentioned.
What do I see today? A bunch of posts with words of support is published. My question is ignored.
